For firms

Drafting and docketing software for registered practitioners. The firm keeps the client and signs every paper.

USPatentProsecution is drafting and docketing software for your firm: papers, invoices and emails carry your firm’s name, letterhead and logo. Your registered practitioners keep the client relationship, review every paper and sign what is filed. The software never files anything.

What your firm gets

A first draft from the disclosure

The applicant’s guided disclosure becomes a draft specification, claims and abstract with a proposed classification and search plan, and a worksheet of open points for the practitioner.

A docket that shows its work

Deadlines, extension windows and USPTO fees are computed from each recorded event, weekends and federal holidays included, each with its rule cited and a “rules as of” date.

Office-action replies

A worksheet of each rejection and objection, a draft reply under 37 CFR 1.111 or 1.116 with the claim listing, and a plain-English summary for the client.

Filing papers

Application data sheet, power of attorney, entity status, information disclosure statements and inventor declarations with e-signature, laid out for signing and filing.

Your firm’s name on everything

Letterhead, legal party, logo and email on the engagement letter, invoices, notices and papers. Several practitioners, one docket.

Applicants who know where they stand

Each applicant has My Docket: the engagement letter, the disclosure, the draft to review, the declaration to sign, and a progress page that says whose turn it is.

How it is priced

One price per package, paid by card when it is ordered (no charge during the beta, through December 31, 2026); one revision round is included. No seats, no monthly fee. Later work (replies, appeal, allowance) is ordered per event; the RCE transmittal itself is free. Prices in USD.

Package Price
Provisional (specification, drawings check, SB/16, fee sheet) $600
Non-provisional, simple mechanical (up to 20 claims) $1,500
Non-provisional, electrical or software $2,200
Non-provisional, chemical or biotech $3,000
Forms-only package (your own draft) $250
PCT national stage entry package $499
Office action response draft (options memo + response; also the amendment filed with an RCE) $395
Restriction or election memo $250
Appeal brief draft $1,800
Notice of allowance: issue fee sheet, optional Rule 312 amendment $150
Monitoring and docketing, per application per year $120

Verification

Each firm’s practitioner registration number is confirmed against the USPTO’s public roster before the firm opens its first application, usually within one business day. Every account accepts the terms of use at sign-up.

Who it is for

  • Solo patent agents and attorneys who want a complete first draft to react to.
  • Firms of two to ten practitioners that need one docket and one set of papers.
  • Firms abroad filing in the United States: national stage and bypass entry, an EUR price list, U.S. deadlines computed for you.
