Draft and docket U.S. patent applications from the examiner’s perspective.
USPatentProsecution turns an invention disclosure into a complete first draft, prepares the forms, computes every deadline from the rules it cites, and keeps the whole application in one place. Your registered practitioner reviews, signs and files.
One price per package, paid by card when you order; no charge during the beta, through December 31, 2026. No seats, no monthly fee. Monitoring $120 per application per year.
Built from the public rules
Every module cites its source in 37 CFR, the MPEP and the USPTO forms, and shows the “rules as of” date it was checked against. The method is workflow analysis from public records: published file wrappers and the rules themselves.
Drafting
Specification, claims, abstract and a proposed classification and search plan from a structured disclosure, in hours. The practitioner edits and releases.
Papers
ADS, power of attorney, entity status, declarations with e-signature, IDS batches with the 1.97 window, preliminary amendments with 1.121 markup.
Docketing
Deadlines from the rules with business-day adjustment, extensions and lapse, Office actions, final actions, restriction, allowance, maintenance fees. Reminders by email.
Replies
Office-action replies drafted against the claim language and the cited passages, for the practitioner to argue, amend and sign.
Your firm, your practitioners, your papers
Create Firm Account
One sign-up opens the firm; add colleagues and applicants. Your name, legal party and letterhead go on every paper and email.
Add applicants
Applicants get their own My Docket: engagement letter, disclosure, draft review, declarations, and a progress page that shows whose turn it is.
Work the application
The firm docket shows every application, its stage, the next deadline and the one action to take. Nothing is filed by software.
Order by package
Provisional $600. Non-provisional $1,500 (simple mechanical), $2,200 (electrical or software), $3,000 (chemical or biotech). Office action response $395. Forms-only package $250. Paid by card when ordered (no charge during the beta, through December 31, 2026), one revision round included. No seats, no monthly fee, nothing in a quiet month.
Solo agents, small firms, and firms abroad filing in the U.S.
- Registered patent agents and attorneys who want a complete first draft to react to, not a blank page.
- Firms of two to ten practitioners that need one docket, one set of papers and one price per application.
- European and other foreign firms entering the U.S.: national stage and bypass packages, an EUR price list, deadlines computed for you.
- Every account is verified against the USPTO’s public roster before an application can be opened.
Before you sign up
Does the software file anything?
No. It prepares drafts, papers and dates. A registered practitioner at your firm reviews, signs and files everything, and remains responsible for it.
Where does the examiner’s perspective come from?
From the public record: the rules (37 CFR, the MPEP, the forms) and published file wrappers, analysed as workflows. No non-public information is involved.
What does it cost?
One price per package, paid by card when it is ordered, with no charge during the beta through December 31, 2026: provisional $600; non-provisional $1,500 to $3,000 by field; Office action response $395; forms-only package $250; extra revision round $200; monitoring and docketing $120 per application per year. Prices in USD. The full list is on your firm’s billing page after sign-up.
Where is our data?
On U.S. servers, encrypted uploads, scoped to your firm. Drafts are produced by an AI service under business terms that exclude training on your data. See the privacy page.
What is a draft based on?
The invention information your firm enters, through the guided disclosure or an uploaded document, together with the USPTO’s public rules, the MPEP and its forms.
Who writes the claims?
The platform proposes claims from the disclosure. Your practitioner edits them and approves the text. A firm with its own draft asks us for the forms-only package.
Does the platform make the drawings?
Drawings come from your draftsperson. The platform lists the figures the text needs, then checks the sheets against 37 CFR 1.84 (size, margins, numbering) and against the text.
Can it work with claims written for another office?
Yes. The preliminary amendment brings PCT or European style claims into U.S. form, shown as a 37 CFR 1.121(c) claim listing for your practitioner’s review. U.S. national stage entry is also supported.
How do Office actions reach the platform?
Your firm adds the platform’s address to its USPTO e-Office Action notifications in Patent Center. Each notice sets the docket event and due date. Before publication, your firm uploads the Office action. The platform never logs in to Patent Center.
How are deadlines worked out?
Each deadline, extension window and USPTO fee is computed from the recorded event, with the rule cited. The firm’s deadlines export as a calendar file or spreadsheet.
Does it draft the reply?
Yes: a worksheet of each rejection and objection, a draft reply with the claim listing, and a plain-English summary for the client. Your practitioner decides what is filed.
What happens after a final rejection?
The platform sets out the routes (amendment after final, RCE, appeal, interview) with their rules and fees. Your practitioner chooses, and the platform prepares the papers for that route.
Does it handle examiner interviews?
It prepares the interview request. Your practitioner conducts the interview.
What happens after allowance?
It prepares the issue fee sheet and tracks utility maintenance fee dates at 3.5, 7.5 and 11.5 years. Your firm pays the fees.
Who is it for?
Solo patent agents and attorneys, firms of two to ten practitioners, and firms abroad with a USPTO-registered practitioner.
Who can sign up?
Firms with a USPTO-registered practitioner. The registration number is checked against the USPTO’s public roster. During the beta, each sign-up is approved first.
When can we start?
The beta is open to firms we approve, free through December 31, 2026. List prices apply from January 1, 2027.
Can a colleague join?
Yes. Add them under Firm & account. Another firm opens its own account.
What does the conflict check cover?
It searches the names of applicants, inventors, owners and other parties across your firm’s applications, including prospective clients. It runs before anyone opens the disclosure, as 37 CFR 11.118 expects.
We already have docketing software. Can we use both?
Yes. The firm’s deadlines export as a calendar file or spreadsheet for your existing system.
Is there a version for other countries?
The platform covers U.S. practice before the USPTO. Firms abroad with a USPTO-registered practitioner use it for their U.S. filings.
How does it stay current with rule changes?
Rule-based pages show the date their rules were last checked. A monthly check of the eCFR, the Federal Register, the MPEP and the USPTO fee schedule flags changes for review. Nothing changes automatically.
Is it like a general AI chatbot?
No. Deadlines and fees are computed from coded rules, with the rule cited. The AI drafts from your firm’s disclosure, and your practitioner reviews the draft.
Can we see a sample reply?
Yes. The demo runs on sample data; ask to see a reply.
Can it run under our firm’s name?
Papers, invoices and emails carry your firm’s name, letterhead and logo. Your practitioners keep the client relationship.
Can an inventor or foreign applicant use it directly?
No. Sign-up needs a firm with a USPTO-registered practitioner. Inventors and foreign applicants come through their firm.
